UTEC presents 2014 Outcomes Report to Lowell City Council

UTEC shared our 2014 Outcomes and Impact Report at the Lowell City Council Youth Services Subcommittee meeting. This report highlights key outcomes for the youth served, as well as information on the proven risk population participating in UTEC programming. 

“UTEC is committed to social and economic success for our proven-risk young people, and to our partnership with the City of Lowell, so we are pleased to make our first public release of the 2014 Outcomes Report to our City partners,” said UTEC executive director Gregg Croteau, MSW.

Governor Baker appoints UTEC executive director to task force on Economic Opportunity

On March 12, 2015, through the signing of an executive order, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker appointed UTEC executive director Gregg Croteau to his new task force on Economic Opportunity for Populations Facing Chronically High Rates of Unemployment.

UTEC Opens Model Green Building

This video shows the new UTEC building being transformed from a church to a youth center. In November 2012, UTEC had its Grand Opening and at the celebration, UTEC announced that we had received LEED Platinum certification, making UTEC the oldest, "greenest" building in the country.
