ZENUB KAKLI, Ed.D.
Zenub joined UTEC in 2010 as the Director of Evaluation and Learning. In that position, she collaborated with program staff to document and reflect upon their work. She also conducted internal program evaluations and managed external research partnerships with universities. As UTEC's first Chief Program Officer, Zenub continues to work with staff with a focus on ensuring that day-to-day program operations are smooth, mission driven, and lead to the best developmental outcomes.
Since she was 15 years old, Zenub has worked in the field of education and youth development. She is a former public school teacher, has taught students from the elementary to graduate school level and has researched the relationship between communities and schools. Zenub has a bachelor's in Asian and Middle Eastern Cultures from Barnard College, Columbia University; a master's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Bank Street College of Education; and a doctorate in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
