Lowell Teen Coalition
:The Lowell Teen Coalition was established in 1988 to reduce the teen pregnancy rate and to implement a comprehensive teen pregnancy prevention plan for the city of Lowell. The Coalition is a broad based community group whose mission is to unite the people of Lowell in reducing the high-risk behaviors that may lead to teen pregnancies, and promoting violence prevention initiatives and youth advocacy.
Boston Women's Fund
: BWF supports community-based organizations run by women and girls in the Greater Boston area. It works with women of color, low-income women, lesbians, women with disabilities, older women, and girls who are working to create a society based on racial, social and economic justice.
Girl Scouts of Spar & Spindle
: Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls-all girls, where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives – like strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.
Suitability
: SuitAbility is a non-profit organization created to enhance the marketability of economically challenged women. SuitAbility provides support services, appropriate interview/work clothing, an evening Drop-In Center, Mentor program and workshops,at no cost, to low income women.
