UTEC’s Development Team is looking for an enthusiastic AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer In Service To America) candidate to help us build the capacity of our individual donor cultivation and stewardship program. The VISTA would help us install our new donor database and create reports and documents to support cultivation of new and repeat gifts.
We expect our Development VISTA to complete the following:
Qualifications: BA/Masters or related experience; strong writing skills; some knowledge of fundraising; database development experience preferred, and knowledge of any database software a plus; ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines; commitment to youth development; and sense of humor.

Compensation: AmeriCorps*VISTA members serve full-time, for one year with varying work hours and receive a modest living allowance, health insurance, an education award of $4,725, relocation expenses, and travel reimbursement. The United Teen Equality Center provides skills training, opportunities to build your resume and work portfolio, career counseling at the end of your service, and a staff mentor throughout the year to provide support and guidance.
