Volunteer at UTEC!
UTEC is always looking for individuals willing to donate their time and talents to make a difference in the lives of Lowell's most disconnected young people. From tutoring to coaching to IT help to sharing your life experiences, everyone has a skill they can contribute. If you'd like to volunteer your time and talents, fill out the UTEC volunteer application or contact Adam Ellsworth at aellsworth@utec-lowell.org or 978-856-3936 to match your interests and skills with available opportunities.
Volunteers at UTEC help out in a variety of ways:
- Tutor students in our GED program or Alternative Diploma Program
- Offer a helping hand at events and fundraisers
- Provide support to our youth-led policymaking and organizing campaigns
- Present career advice before a group of youth in the Workforce Development Program
- Perform various building maintenance and handyman or handywoman projects
- Coach a UTEC sports teams Assist UTEC’s IT Coordinator with various tasks and projects
