Staff Bio

Leslie joined the UTEC family in September 2006 as a Streetworker and the only female on the team. Born and raised in the city of Lowell, she is very passionate about giving back to her community and, in particular, working with young people. She is now the Transitional Coach Supervisor, assisting her team to work relentlessly toward guiding all UTEC members to trade violence and poverty for social and economic success.

Leslie is married to Nick whom she has been with for 10 years. Her two children Nicholas and Taeisha are just much a part of UTEC as Leslie is. Whether they are joining Leslie to see a special event that the teens have put together, cheer for UTEC's basketball game, or participate in cultural arts programs that UTEC offers, her children share the same love for UTEC.

In addition to working at UTEC and being a mom, Leslie is also a student working toward a Psychology degree. She loves music and enjoys dancing!
