Elena has been working as the mental health counselor at UTEC for four years through a partnership with the Mental Health Association of Greater Lowell, Inc. Elena received her bachelor's degree in social work from Providence College and her Master of Social Work from Salem State University. Throughout graduate school, Elena knew she wanted to work with the teens of Lowell in whom she sees such great potential. Having lived in Lowell her whole life, she wanted to be able to give back to the city she loves. Elena loves working at UTEC and has learned so much from both the staff and teens.
