| AMELEA GRAY (978) 856-3954 |
Amelea Gray spent sixteen beautiful years enjoying the Big Sky State otherwise known as Montana. Her junior year of high school she relocated to Lake Placid, New York where she chased her ice hockey aspirations at National Sports Academy. After spending two amazing years with equally as amazing people in Lake Placid she realized how powerful a passionate teacher can be in the life of a student and decided to pursue a teaching career at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
At Hamline Amelea played goaltender for the women’s ice hockey team (Go Pipers!) and studied English and secondary Education. As Amelea puts her college career on pause she is eager to immerse herself in all that is AmeriCorps and UTEC. Amelea’s hope is that she can make education a more positive experience for the youth she works with.
