Tania Ormonde
Youth Development Supervisor
Tania was born and raised in the back central area of Lowell. She maintains a permanent residence in downtown Lowell area as she finds the area intriguing, full of life, and bursting with potential. Tania lived in Portugal for six years of her youth which was the foundation for her love of people, nature, travel, and culture.

Tania is well traveled and has made trips to Russia and what was then the Republic of Georgia as a high school exchange student. She spent time in France as part of a cathedral exploration group, as well as traveled around Spain experiencing the people and its culture, and has experienced most of the Azorean islands. Also, Tania has traveled to Hungry, Slovakia, Check Republic and Austria to study the central European culture.

Tania has been closely involved with the community where she has taken part in Christmas in April, helped feed the homeless at the YMCA, coached swim and soccer for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell, team leader for D.A.R.E. summer camps, DJ/Announcer at a local radio station, and has been a leader of the Peace/Emmaus youth group.
