Sovanna Pouv
Director of Multimedia / PC Repair Coordinator
Sovanna was born in a refugee camp in Thailand and moved to the United States shortly afterwards.  He lived in Chicago for a few years then moved to Lowell and has lived there ever since.  Fluent in both English and Khmer, he joined the UTEC family in July 2001 through CMAA, which had a program that was designed to help Non-US citizens gain a job in the professional work field. Currently, Sovanna serves as both Director of Multimedia and PC Repair Coordinator.

Prior to working at UTEC, Sovanna was part of Big Brother Big Sister’s Adam Project who was part of the first Annual Dance for Peace Event. He graduated from Lowell High School in 1999 enrolled as a Cambodian Club and CAPAY (Coalition for Asian Pacfic American Youth) member. Currently, he’s attending Middlesex Community College working towards an Associates in Graphic Design. He’s also planning to attend University of Massachusetts Lowell once he have his Associates Degree.
