Criselen Trinidad
Leadership Member
My name is Criselen Trinidad, I am sixteen years old, I am of Dominican heritage and am a junior al Lowell High School. I was born in Dominican Republic December19, 1991. I moved to the United States when I was eight years old and moved to Lowell when I was ten years old. I joined UTEC my sophomore year of high school, when I was fourteen years old. When I joined UTEC I didn’t know what I was getting into but so far it has been very helpful. UTEC helped me with volunteering; which I needed, with a job during the summer, and so much more.

I’m still a member at UTEC. At first I wasn’t an active member I just went to spend time with my friends and talk to the UTEC staff and just hang out in the lounge. Then one day I signed up to participate in the Leadership Program, had some interviews and I ended up making it into the final ten. Then the trainings started, some were boring, others were ok, but others were extremely fun. Overall they were all very exciting. With leadership I became an active member at UTEC, and received many benefits: free entry into parties, field trips, a summer job and much more. I’m still in the leadership team and I encourage others to join.
